Aigo DVD Audio Ripper is a very easy and powerful DVD ripper. The program allows you to rip any DVD from your DVD-ROM drive or from a folder on your PC.
After locating a DVD the program explores the videos present on the DVD and chapters the video is divided into. You can deselect any chapter not to include in the ripping process. The output audio format is MP3 and cannot be changed. However you can customize the output audio quality by setting the output profile. You can change the audio bit-rate, sample rate and number of channels in the profile settings to get the desired audio quality. Most DVD videos have 5.1 Dolby sound and you can choose the 5.1 channels in the profile settings to get the best audio quality. While playing with audio bitrate and sample rate, keep in mind that increasing either of these may double and sometimes triple the output audio file size.
Additionally, you can add title, author name, copyright information, comments and album name to the output audio using the general settings. The ripping process itself may be time consuming, but the program can automatically turn off your PC after ripping.
